Edward Hastaday died at his home in Crawfordsville on Tuesday morning of pneumonia. Funeral services were held yesterday at St. Bernard's Church of which he was a member. He was the sson of Mr. and Mrs. John Hastaday and was born August 12, 1878. He was a brother of the late Mrs. Sanford Moody and made his home in Waveland for several years. May 25, 1901 he married Miss Grace English, who with two children, Owen aged 15 and Grace, aged 6 years, survive him. Mr. Hastaday worked for some years with Sanford Moody in the hay baling business. After moving to Crawfordsville he worked for the brick plant. He was a quiet and industrious young man, and his death will bring regret to a large number of friends. - kbz
